Lauvise Cribbs Hampton, 76, of Ashburn passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at Pruitt Health Care in Ashburn.
Born on April 20, 1941 to the late James Edward "Bill" and Annie Louise Wise Cribbs, she was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Mrs. Hampton was a homemaker. She also retired from the Turner County Board of Education and was a private sitter. She also worked for Nolan Steel as a secretary. She is survived by her husband, Billy Joseph Hampton of Ashburn; daughter, Doris (Jack) Martenn of Ashburn; daughter-in-law, Julie Hampton; brother, Kenneth Cribbs of Ashburn; grandchildren, Hunter Martenn, Hayden Martenn and Chris Hampton; great-grandchildren, Natalie Hampton, Olivia Hampton and Ana Hampton. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Hampton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Bethel Baptist Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. | ||||
