WALTHAM-Artan Kucuku, 40, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23 at Massachusetts General Hospital.
He was the son of Fiqirete (Metohu) Kucuku and Vesel Kucuku. Artan was a loving father, husband, son, brother and friend who will greatly be missed. He was a Director at the Federal Reserve Bank who always enjoyed learning a new skill set and striving to be the best person he could possible be. Artan was born in Tirana, Albania in 1977 who came to United States in his teen years in search of new opportunities. He graduated Greenwich High in Greenwich Connecticut and received his undergraduates and graduate degree at Clark University in Worcester. Artan is survived by his wife Irma Kucuku, his two loving children Caitlin and Connor, his parents Vesel and Fiqirete and his sister Mirjeta John and her husband, Tomas and their child, Kai of Los Angels, CA. Artan will be greatly missed by all of his family. He was a beacon of light and touched the lives of everyone he met.
Visiting Hours are Friday, August 25 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, August 26 at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM and process to Hope Cemetery for a Grave Service at 11:00AM
