FALL RIVER… Gilda (Oliveira) Santos, 67, of Fall River passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017. She was born in Faja De Cima, St. Michael, Azores, a daughter of the late Domicino and Deolinda (Camara) Oliveira. She had lived in this area for 20 years and was a communicant of Espirito Santo Church. She worked as a Machine Operator for the former Quaker Fabric in Fall River.
Survivors include a daughter: Sonia Cordeiro and her husband Nelson of Fall River, a brother: Antonio Oliveira of Canada, 6 sisters: Lucia Bulhoes, Alda Borges, Maria Nicolau, Grace Medeiros all of Canada, Octavia Melo of E. Providence, Niveria Pimentel of Rehoboth, 7 grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
Services which relatives and friends are invited to will be Friday at 9 AM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden Street. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be from 8-9:30 AM Friday morning.
