Bennett A. Cantwell, Jr. age 84 passed away peacefully at the Beth Israel in the company of his loving family. He lived in Milton, MA for over 50 years. He graduated from Boston Technical High School and had an Associate’s degree from Wentworth Technical Institute. He was a Staff Sargent in the US Army and worked for the family business, Cantwell Construction and BA Cantwell for over 50 years. He also was an active collector at St. Elizabeth's Church, Milton, MA for 40 years. He loved cars, boats, figure skating, boxing, the Olympics and anything that had wheels, speed or action. He was always at the heart of every conversation, laughed with vigor and passion, and loved being with people. He was a very warm and loving father.

Beloved husband for 55 years of Marci (Kozuch). Father of Traci Cantwell of W. Roxbury, and Richard Cantwell and his wife, Natalie of Chestnut Hill. Grandfather of Alex Cantwell of Chestnut Hill. Brother of Stephen Cantwell and wife Paula of ME and FL, and the late Lawrence and Dickie Cantwell. Brother in law of Jane Cantwell of Marshfield. Funeral mass at St. Elizabeth Church, Milton Friday morning at 9 am. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Thursday 4-8 pm. Burial Milton Cemetery.
