Obituary

SALEM – John M. Dobrosielski, 74, husband of Joan (Larson) Dobrosielski, of Salem, dies Sunday morning, July 16, 2017 at his residence following a long illness and with family at his side.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Eugene and Mildred (Ahearn) Dobrosielski and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the City of Salem for 24 years and retired as a fire alarm dispatcher. He was previously employed by the Michaud Bus Lines, Salem.

John was a longtime member of the Veragua Council #76, Knights of Columbus, Salem and was also active with the Salem Civil Defense for many years.

Besides his wife Joan, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage, he also leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Steven Hincman of Salem, a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Tina Dobrosielski of Beverly, 5 grandchildren, Samantha Hincman, Lyndsey Hincman, Jonathan Dobrosielski, Evan Dobrosielski, Amber Hanson, and 3 great grandchildren, Christopher, Jamison, and Deliliah Hanson. He was the brother of the late Joan Dobrosielski and Donald Dobrosielski.

His funeral service will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 10 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, with a visitation on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
