Ronald J. Conlon age 82, passed away July 15th surrounded by his loving family at Cornerstone at Canton Assisted Living. Born and Raised in Dorchester, he graduated from Boston Technical High School and Northeastern University and went on to serve in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was the Owner and President Ramsco Corp. in Canton for many years before retiring in 2002. Ron has lived in Canton since 1965 where he was a member of the Canton Senior Men’s Club and an Usher at St. John the Evangelist Church. He was an avid Red Sox fan and a season ticket holder for many years.
Beloved husband of the late Sarah (Doherty). Father of Anne Marie Creedon and her husband Michael of Holbrook, Ronald J. Conlon, Jr. and his wife Lori of Windermere, FL and Sara Donovan and her husband James of Norton. Grandfather of Michael Creedon, Jacquelyn Conlon and Teddy Conlon. Brother of Janet Crowley of OK and the late Alice DiCarli and John Conlon. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Friday morning at 10:30. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canton Veteran’s Service Department 801 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021.
