Francis A. McGeough age 92 of Milton passed away July 11th at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. Born in Boston, he was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School , received his Master’s in Education from Boston State and served in the Army during WW II. He worked as an Industrial Arts Teacher for Stoughton High School for 17 years and later for the Dover Sherborn Regional High School for many years before retiring in 1987. He was an avid golfer and a member of Wampatuck Golf Club in Canton. Beloved husband for 42 years of the late Ethel (McGuire). Father of the late Francis G. McGeough. Brother of Mary Butler of Dedham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral mass at St. Elizabeth Church 350 Reedsdale Rd Milton Saturday morning at 9:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Friday 4-7 pm. Burial St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury. Army Veteran WW II.
