Evelyn A. Mellen passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Born in Boston, she was a graduate of St Gregory Elementary and High Schools and the Wyndham School. Evelyn was the V.P. for the Colonial Management Assoc. Inc, retiring in 1995. She loved learning about English History, going to the theater and traveling to Europe and the Caribbean. Beloved daughter of the late Leo F. and Virginia (McViney). Loving sister of the late Virginia Monahan and Katherine Mellen. Cherished aunt of Gerard Monahan and his wife Rose of Avon and grand aunt of Kaitlin Monahan of Weymouth. Longtime friend of Cynthia Tulloch of Milton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton Monday morning at 10:30. Visiting hour. at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Monday 9 to 10 prior to Mass. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Boston.
