Kathleen A. Gorham (Berlo) age 84 of Canton passed away at the Stanley R. Tippett Hospice Home in Needham June 5th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and graduated from St. Gregory’s School. She worked as a Teacher’s Aid for the Hanson School in Canton and previously worked as a secretary for Sears Roebuck Co. in Boston in the Advertising Department. She also worked in the Family Business Gorham Fire Appliance in Quincy. She has lived in Canton since 1962 where she was previously a Board Member and Vice President of the Ponkapoag Civic Assn and was also Cub Scout Den Mother. Beloved wife of the late Robert M. Sr. Mother of Robert M. Gorham, Jr. and his wife Robin of Canton, John A. Gorham and his wife Jeanne of Westford, William J. Gorham and his wife Patricia of Foxboro and Michael E. Gorham and his longtime girlfriend Kim Sprenger of Wilmington, DE. Sister of Eleanor McCarthy of Hingham. Aunt of Michael McCarthy of Hingham, Maureen Ghublikian of New Seabury, John McCarthy of Sudbury and the late Paul McCarthy. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Thursday morning at 10. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery.
