Robert A. Buddington age 90 of Canton passed away May 11th at the Ellis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwood. Born in Somerville, he was raised in Newton and graduated from Newton High School. He went on to serve in the Navy during WW II and worked as a Service representative for Boston Gas Co. for 39 years before retiring. Beloved husband of the late Claire V. “Dolly” (Heffernan). Brother of Edward and Kenneth Buddington both of FL. Brother in law of Kathleen and Bill Floyd of Norwood. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Monday at 12 noon. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Monday prior to the mass from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Burial St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury. Navy Veteran WW II. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society 125 S. Huntington Ave Boston, MA 02130. | |||||
