Evelyn A. “Meama” Masciarelli (Coan) of Canton passed away April 19th at home surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Stoughton, she graduated from Stoughton High School and has lived in Canton for over 70 years. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed reading, knitting, travel, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late John J. Mother of Linda S. Sloan and her husband Paul of Canton, Debra L. Davison and her husband Michael of Falmouth, and Joanne C. Cogliano and her husband Anthony of Canton. Sister of Kenneth Coan of Stoughton, Betty Wilson of FL and the late Clyde Coan, Robert Coan, Olive Masciarelli, and Francis Coan. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and longtime friend Bill Doyle of Brockton. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Monday at 11 am. Visiting hours prior to the service from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
