Gregg S. Gendreau, 41, of East Hampstead, NH died Thursday, May 27, 2010 in his home. Gregg was born in Lowell, MA on August 16, 1968, a son of Edward and Judith (Perras) Gendreau. He was a resident of East Hampstead for the past eight months, formerly living in Derry, NH. Gregg was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, class of 1987, and was employed as a salesman for Polybond Corp. in Derry. He enjoyed sailing, all types of water sports, skiing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, hiking, camping with his kids, and the outdoors in general. He also loved to cook, enjoyed music and playing guitar.
In addition to his parents of Derry, he is survived by three sons, Michael Gendreau, Brandon Gendreau, and Christian Gendreau all of Derry; two brothers, Edward Gendreau of Derry, and Mark Gendreau of Hampstead; one sister, Debra Bouthiette of Candia, NH; and his maternal grandmother, Doris Perras of Dracut, MA. He was predeceased by a sister, Donna Gendreau in 1985.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, June 1st from 5 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. Committal prayers followed in Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
