My husband, Ed Moriarty, and I bought our first home in Salem from the Bedard Family. After we moved in, Mr. Bedard would quietly do sweet and helpful things on the outside of our property without us ever seeing him. We were young and inexperienced and he was incredibly kind. He left a picnic bench he had made at the property. It was so strong and well built that we used it until two years ago...34 years years later! What a wonderful man! My condolences to his family

Mr. Bedard was always gracious and friendly. He made you feel welcome and at ease with his gentle manner. Always a kind word or gesture. He will be missed by so many. Condolences to his family and friends, especially his grandchildren whom he visited frequently, often bearing a box of fresh baked donuts and pastries and his wonderful smile and warm greeting.

Some of the best years of my life were spent at the Bedard home with one of my best friends, Ann, and her wonderful family. Mr. and Mrs. Bedard were very warm and welcoming and always made me feel like family. Mr. Bedard was one of the kindest, friendliest, sweetest men I have ever known. One could not help but love his warm smile and his gentle demeanor. It was a pleasure to have known him. Thinking of his family and sending love and healing prayers.
