Mémère, as I think of you I can remember how excited you always were during my visits. You're smile is unforgettable and you we're always filled with joy when you saw me. I know you loved me very much and I will never forget all that you did for me. Just know, wherever you’ll be, you’ll be greatly missed. I love you.

I’m sure everyone who knew my grandmother has fond memories of her much like mine. They are good memories, something we’ll always have to cherish. It isn’t often in our lives that we come across someone as unique and special as she was. I am so grateful for my time with her and everything she taught me. She was such a confident and independent woman and I admired her so much for that. She had a great sense of humor and always knew how to make me laugh and smile. She also taught me how to be strong in my faith and to never lose hope even when life was tough. I love you Memere. I'm sorry I cant be there in person to say goodbye to you, but your memory will forever live on in my heart. Xo Nicole
