Debbie, Andre, Andre11, Dan and Christine I am so sorry to hear about your mom and grandmother. Debbie, I know how difficult this is for you but know your mother is not hurting anymore and will be with you all the time watching over you and the family. She joined your brother in making sure your family is well. Your mom was a wonderful person and liked to make people smile. She had to be wonderful! how many people can ride around all those years in an ice cream truck for the kids! My thoughts and prayers are with you and Andre and your dad and kids. I will be with you this week in spirit. Rest in peace, Ruth.

I am so so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a welcome sight to so many children in Salem. She fed my love of soft serve vanilla cherry dip which is still the only soft serve that I will have to this day. My God Bless your family during this difficult time..

As a child we knew her as the "ice cream lady" Living near Collins Cove the truck would often stop 2x a day during the summer and we would get the best treats from her. She brought so many happy memories to Salem children & residents!

Ruth was a wonderful Mom, Grandmother and friend. I always enjoyed spending holidays with her.6As a kid, I can remember waiting waiting for the Ice-cream Lady to come. I never realized that one day her daughter would be my sister-in-law. As my nephew Dan would say, we love Gran M and we will miss you.
