Words can hardly express the sorrow we all feel at this time and I express my deepest sympathy to Carol and the entire family. Bert was a very close friend during our high school years and we were fellow teammates at the Academy. Mrs P always referred to me as her 8th son maybe b/c I spent so much time at their house. By all accounts, Bert was a good husband and father. I last saw him at our HS reunion in 2008 with our old football coach Pep Cornachio.
