Our condolences to Fr. Paul's family. He was one of the priests at St. Mary in Chelmsford, where we've been parishioners for many years. May he rest in peace.

Rest In Peace Father Berube! You were a good friend even though I am not a church lady. Please say hello to my Michael and Patrick and make sure they are behaving. When my time comes, please ask the gatekeeper to let me in. Enjoy heaven and pray for us all. Mary Slattery

One hell of a priest.....he thrived on building up a parish wherever he served. In West Roxbury, he build a parish center; in Amesbury, he turned the school into a parish center and renovated the church; in Wayland, he built a parish center and renovated a church. He was also a great homilist and a good friend to me. R.I.P. Fr. Paul.

Father Berube's homilies at Immaculate Conception in Newburyport were always thought provoking. He was a great defender of human rights. HIs views were very progressive. My condolences and prayers go out to his family.

To Fr Paul's family.....Fr Paul was in charge of our CYO at St Thomas in Wilmington. My memories of all he did for the youth of Wilmington....was just phenomenal....no other words could describe all he did for us. He arraigned with a company in Maine for Xmas wreaths....which the CYO sold to fund our ski trips to NH....first time most of us had ever skied....he arraigned trips to dinner theaters for us.....took us on a mountain climbing trip....only to be rained out...but with his connections was able to get our bus load of kids onto Pease AFB.....which for me was a great experience because I got to live there many years later....so many Wonderful Memories of this man of God. Thank you for the memories but Thank you for Being an Amazing Priest.

Father Paul blessed our lives immensely. He was very involved in the parish and always had an open ear and open door for all the parishioners. He vitalized the St. Zepherin community, from youth education to senior groups. He had the ability to make each one of us feel that we are part of our God's plan. Father Paul respected all of us, individually, and brought us closer to our religion and to our God. We will always miss him.
