As hard as it is, that your journey is no longer on this earth, I am grateful your suffering is over. I'm proud to be your daughter. I could not have asked for a better Dad. You have taught me immeasurable lessons that you probably never knew. You made an impact. You made a difference. You mattered. You will always be loved. I am sure I will talk to you more now that I ever did. Get ready for some good conversations. I love you Daddy!

Our condolences to Mr Hogans family & friends. He was a *Boss, respected and admired. Keeping his cool with all of us meatball kids and a Dapper Dan at the same time (Smile) I still have my trumpet and his music...One was a Burger King commercial :) My sister the same she has a Saxaphone. He wasn't just a teacher but a friend. Then there's talent to know all these instruments and direct us! Our dad loved band music and was so proud of us at The Canoe Club, we wouldn't have been there without him. With love and sympathy Jeanie & Sandy Harding

Please accept my sincerest condolences. I haven't seen 'Mr. Hogan' for many years, but I'll always remember him for his sense of humor and charming personality. I'm grateful for the time that I spent with him while growing up. He was one of a kind.

It is truly hard to take in. I will miss the phone and FaceTime calls, sending Christmas cards, and sharing my travels with you. Although I wish I could have gotten home sooner to share some inevitable laughs and tell you I love you one last time, I thank you for giving me precious moments throughout my life that I will forever cherish. I will always remember watching you have the time of your life conducting to the classical music played on the car radio and performing with the school band. The trips to New Hampshire or Vermont seeing black bears cross the road, spending the holidays at your house easter egg hunting, sharing melas together as a family, opening gifts from each other being completely surprised by your impeccable taste for clothing, of which I still have and wear often, and relaxing in front of the fireplace. I love you Pops, forever and always.

Mr. Hogan was my Band teacher for many years and as a musician myself, he was one of my biggest influences musically from elementary to middle school. He was charismatic and had a knack for making music fun, enjoyable and something to be fully appreciated. I remember in 7th grade he asked me to switch from Baritone Horn to French Horn because the school acquired some new instruments and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m so grateful to have known him and that he was a part of my life. He left his mark; one of a kind. My deep felt condolences to family and friends. May God grant you all peace during this difficult time. Sincerely, Brian Roscoe WBHS Class of 1980

From Mozart to Beethoven and Sleigh Ride by the ”Pops“- Air conducting to the car radio- you thought you were the Tops! To actually conducting Neil diamonds “ Sweet Caroline” with your school band -myself included-your trumpet in my hand. To The Wild kingdom, Abbott & Costello, The Three Stooges, Jackie Gleason and All in the Family….. Burnt hot-dogs, one bite sandwiches to tuna fish with peas and Alka-seltzer! To Your “pull my thumb” line and farts that would linger and of course we can’t forget your infamous middle finger! To drift wood and fishing rods always in the trunk (along with the smelly bait) to the cash- filled eggs on your easter -egg hunts! To the Fall and Christmas décor galore- And your enormous sense of accomplishment and pride when admiring your handy work with your family by your side. From the Streets of Holbrook to the Shores of Plymouth, to Valhalla of Norton to the bridge of flowers, oh how you loved driving for hours and hours! To the roadside picknicks along the scenic by-way of the “Kanc”- Rich in breathtaking Beauty, History, my fondest memories, and thank God always a full tank! To the miles and miles of road trips all across New England, Thanks for sharing these moments, the good and the bad… Most of all- Thanks for being there… Thanks for being my Dad!
