I am deeply saddened to hear of Joni's death. She and I have kept in touch ever since my husband, Paul, and I served the Highland UMC, beginning in January 1971. It was always fun for both of us to talk on the phone. Usually our conversations began "I was JUST thinking about you!" And we picked up right where we left off the from the previous phone call. Good friends and times remembered. Love and Prayers, Elna

Tyler and Sean, sending warm thoughts to you on the passing of your grandmother. I met Joan at Trinitarian when she first came to live in Norton; it soon seemed as if she had always been there! I loved running into her - and all of you, actually - whether at church, the medical center, the library, or singing carols at her doorway. Her warm manner brought happiness and I will very much miss running into her. All the best, Carla.

Phil and I are so sad to hear of the passing of my old friend. I remember tea time in the Office of Admission at New Paltz and her cookie stash. She was generous and kind and her smile lit up a room. My love to Avery and family…know that she will live on in my heart
