Bobby, this past weekend (November 13th) was a gift to spend with you. I never would have thought it would be the last one. Through all the good times with the boys you will be missed. Love you man!

Merritt and Family. Although I only met you two once in Indiana I felt a strong connection to the two of your inner happiness. Keep that happiness with you and remember our loved ones never really leave. Uplifting thoughts for you all. RIP Bobby

My parents & I unfortunately cannot make Bob’s services this week (we are out-of-state for the next week or so), but I wanted to take a moment and offer my condolences regarding Bob’s passing: Not only was he a great coach, but he was also a great person, too. It might sound hyperbolic to describe somebody as ‘one-of-a-kind’ and exemplary, but Bob was definitely—without a doubt—one-of-a-kind and exemplary. I am so grateful that I was able to meet him and be on several of his teams while growing up. I will never forget him. He will surely be missed by all (including the Portways), and I am so sorry for your loss.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. I have had the pleasure of working with Bob at Pierce Aluminum in the Franklin office for years. His passing is a tremendous shock and loss to our work family and he will be greatly missed. You are all in my prayers for strength. Remember to lean on The Lord and your community for support and help in healing your broken hearts.
