deirfiúr mór (Big Sister) My Big Sister Rosemary All my life you have been there. The 2nd of nine children and the oldest of my five sisters. In my early years, my three oldest sisters were more my alternate moms than sisters. Memories of our childhood stay with me as I contemplate how quickly the time has passed. My big sister Rosemary would always be there for me to lend a helping hand. She always loved me, even when I could be a proverbial pain in the ass. She was large beyond her size and tough as nails. She fought the good fight against impossible odds through a pandemic and never lost her faith. The Oak Tree A mighty wind blew night and day It stole the oak tree’s leaves away Then snapped its boughs and pulled its bark Until the oak was tired and stark But still the oak tree held its ground While other trees fell all around The weary wind gave up and spoke. How can you still be standing Oak? The oak tree said, I know that you Can break each branch of mine in two Carry every leaf away Shake my limbs, and make me sway But I have roots stretched in the earth Growing stronger since my birth You’ll never touch them, for you see They are the deepest part of me Until today, I wasn’t sure Of just how much I could endure But now I’ve found, with thanks to you I’m stronger than I ever knew. Johnny Ray Rider, Jr. My Big Sister Rosemary was an Oak. The Irish choose to celebrate the life lived and we firmly believe that my Big Sister has simply moved on to her final reward. Until we meet again, I miss you, I love you, my deirfiúr mór (Big Sister).

Rosemary and I first met when She was Rosemary Williams and worked at The Country Haven Nursing Home In Norton. Throughout the years we became friends. She was a an amazing nurse and we shared a strong faith. When her Grandson Garrett was overseas in the Military and my Grandson Austin was also there at the same time we would pray together on the phone for them to be safe and they were. May God Bless You all and may she be with God's Angels Love, Edie

Sorry to hear of RoseMarys passing. The crew at Easton Lincoln had so much fun and memories with her. Our crazy weekends at the Cape. The times we were snowed at work and spent some fun exhausting hours together. You will truly be missed. Respectfully, Lori Ciraso

I am so sorry for your loss. I was on Rosemary's softball team for many years when I was younger and she was my inspiration to continue playing into my later years. She was at my wedding - she was such a good friend; such a good person.

Rosemary and Willie were our next door neighbors on Plain Street from June, 65 until we moved to Dallas, TX in June, 69. We had so many great times together with other neighbors. Many fun block parties. Rosemary was always there to lend a hand when needed. May she rest in peace. Our deepest condolences to her two sons, Michael and Ronald and the rest of here extended family.

I am so sorry for your loss. My husband Marvin and I knew Rosemary at Emerald Lakes Mobile Home Park in Clermont, Florida. She was such a caring person and always checked up on people that were having health concerns. Full of fun and always making sure that she did more than her fair share in contributing work for the good of the community, everyone knew what a wonderful Emerald Laker she was. I rejoice that God sent her to us. Sincerely, Ellen Mitterer

I was so saddened to hear of Rosemary’s passing. She was my teacher, helping me obtain my HHA certification. But, more importantly, she was my mentor and my very dear friend! No one made me feel more capable and appreciated than Rosemary. The world has lost such an incredible woman! I will miss her, and be thankful to her, always!
