It as with great sadness I learned of Herbie's passing. I first met him and Ruth back in the late sixties while working at Ann's Place. We discovered he was a friend of my brothers and he had stories of their escapades at Legion Conventions. For some reason he nicknamed me Bunny and still called me that when our paths crossed. I would run into him at the Legion when he worked at Midway and every parade in Norton. Always smiling, joking and happy to see you. Rest in Peace old friend.

Herb was a friendly neighbor and a kind man. He was an inspiration to our family in all that he had accomplished in his long life. He was very supportive of our son during his journey to achieving his rank of Eagle Scout and for that we are grateful. Herb you will be missed.

To Herb Church's family and Bruce (same class at NHS). I have a lot of fond memories of Herb and the many interactions I had with him. With his dedication to the Legion I can only imagine what kind of Seaman he was. The parades were always special to him. We have lost a truly good man. Take care Herb Rest in Piece you gave your all.

Hello Ruth and son, I was so sorry to hear that Herb passed away. I'm so glad I got to visit with you both a couple of years ago. He certainly was a great guy and so active in affairs of the community. He even helped us with our reunions. I always remembered that. You had a great obit for him. Take care of yourself.
