Sensei Steve was our young son’s first introduction to the martial arts. Our son had the BEST time in that class. Sensei was so good with the little ones! Our son was very excited to keep participating in Sensei’s class but unfortunately the dojo closed down after we were there for only a few classes. What fond memories we have of that short time. Our hearts are with Sensei’s family and friends.

at a time of unressed in our nation our past brings us closure to cherished memories and loved ones. I was a graduate of the class of 79" in norton and knew debbie and her family. I was also a special on the NPD and till this day regret not following through. I never really knew stephen but can surely see he was a special person who lost a battle that was part of a bigger battle. He was a chosen one above all and wish his family my deepest prayers, strength and syampathys. May god be with you all. a friend joe wagner

Stephen Desfosses was the most exceptional man I have ever known.A loyal and honest friend to the last, he never quit and he never complained, he just kept plugging along. Not only was he an exceptional karateka, he was hands down the best drummer I have ever played with. I will miss you Steve, you were the greatest friend a guy could ever ask for. I pray for his beautiful family and wish them comfort during these difficult days.

Debbie and Cheryl, I’m sure you don’t remember me. The last time I saw you, you were little girls. My father was Tony Iannillo, my mother Cecile. Please accept my deepest condolences to family and friends. I don’t have words enough to express my sorrow. When my father passed, we waked him just one night. Your mom and dad drove all the way from Norton to Revere during a raging blizzard. As long as I live, I’ll never forget that. Again, I’m so sorry. Take care of each other.

To Stephen Desfosses family I am sorry for your lost. I was Steve's drum teacher when he attended Norton High School. He was a great student and drummer who was always willing to learn all he could about drums and drumming. I am proud to know that he played drums in the Army Corp Band. He served the town of Norton well as one of their best police officers. I know you will get through this because Steve will be watching over you from heaven. My prayers are with you. Phil

Stephen was my closest friend in middle school until I moved away from Norton. He always had a smile, was full of energy and ready for some mischief. I will always treasure our time together. I am so proud of the impact he made to Norton and all those around him. Yet, none of that surprises me as he had enough positivity inside him to give to everyone. You will surely be missed. My heart goes out to your family.

Stephen was my closest friend in middle school in Norton until I moved out of town. He was always very positive, with a smile and ready for mischief. We spent so much time together goofing off, listening to records (pink floyd), playing pool, ping pong and swimming. What a great time in my life and what a great friend. I'm very proud of him and the impact he had on his community. He will be missed. To the Desphosses family, I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you all.
