My friend, Anne was the secretary at LG Nourse for the 10 years I taught there (1985-1995). I was a young, 2nd year teacher and my new school family led by Anne took good care of me all those years. They liked to tease me that they all “ had shoes older than me!” Many monthly potluck get together or trips for Chinese food in Attleboro were always filled with nonstop chatter and a lot of laughs! Later, when I moved away, Anne would welcome me and my young kids to visit her on the Cape in her beloved cottage. We all have many happy memories with Anne there, and with her at Betty Walton’s pond in Plymouth. She was a great friend and my memories of her will always bring me a smile and a laugh! Sending prayers of peace and comfort to Brian and her family and friends.

Brian, I am saddened to read of your mom’s passing. We met as colleagues at Attleboro High in the 60’s and became good friends. I enjoyed our times together in and out of school. Anne was a kind, caring person and a great teacher! Even after retirement our paths continued to cross at the Attleboro Y. She was so proud of you Brian! Keeping you in my thoughts, Sheila

Brian and family, Please accept my sincere condolences. Your mother was a wonderful back yard neighbor when we summered on Toledo St. My daughter, Caitlin, has fond memories of being invited in the house for candy and treats. Condolences to the family. I remember Anne, Catherine, Marie, and Uncle Al well. My dad was Fred Lombard, Al’s older brother who settled on City Island, NY. I saw Anne last in 1955 while my Dad was building his home on Bay Street. I had spent time with Marie the summer before she passed away.
