CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

Kathy and I attended Norton High School together and were friends, sitting together and sharing books in Mr Derry’s class. We lost touch after high school but did reconnect at our 25th high school reunion and the last few years via FaceBook posts. Kathy was always fun to hang out with and a strong sense of humor. Her interest in social justice was there since our teen age years. One year when teachers were protesting during their contract negotiations, Kathy insisted we go to a picket type protest that was happening in front of the old Norton High School on Main Street at night. We were the only 2 students there. Reluctant as I was, I went and learned about fairness and equity. Kathy’s family is surely proud of her commitment to family and community. RIP Kathy!
