I remember Walt with his jet black hair. Strong as an ox, full of life, rowdy (don't get him drunk!), fun loving, hard working, and a loyal friend. Our core group of shipmates all seemed to have picked up nick names. We called Walt "The Bostonian". I remember Walt and Chopper (Keith Carver)as being tight friends. Walt will always be remembered by myself and his brothers. We became family to each other and in our hearts and minds though many years and miles separate us, his memory has always been with us. His memory will continue to live with us, nothing can ever take that away. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss.
