Dear George, We are sure you know what is in our hearts for you, Marcus, Michael, Shannon, Jessie and the whole family. Janet will surely be missed and loved forever. Her very being enhanced the lives of those around her in a myriad of ways from the aesthetic to the "ordinary" day-to-day occurrences we all go through. We think of Janet like Red thought of his friend Andy Dufresne in the movie, The Shawshank Redemption "Sometimes it makes me sad, though... Andy being gone. I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up DOES rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend." She is free now and the last two sentences of that quote definitely apply to the way we feel now and how we will feel forever. May love and memories strengthen and comfort you. To Janet's family, We were so sad to read of Janet's passing... She made many beautiful window treatments for our home in Waban -- and both my husband and I thought she was wonderful! Always so friendly and stylish, she spoke so lovingly of George and her boys. Leona would sew for the girls and back to Tekamah they would go. You have been away from Nebraska, visits have been few, each special. May you find comfort in God's love and understanding.
