CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

Becky was a resident of mine, who I grew SO very close to. I loved spending time with her because she always had something positive to say, and it was said with a smile! We bonded over our love for music and dancing. I used to play her favorite songs and her face would light up with excitement as we would sing along together. I will always remember her as my dancing queen, and my promise to her was always that I will become a nurse because she wants me to continue on and be the best I can be! She is someone I will remember forever, and will truly miss. Rest in Peace my dancing queen, I will miss and love you forever!

Grammy, I have still not entirely processed this. I will be *forever* thankful I was able to say my goodbyes and to get one more strong hug from you—so strong that I wasn’t convinced it was the last time we would see each other. We danced and sang and laughed. No different than what we did my entire life. I will forever remember getting picked up at the house for sleepovers, taking walks up and down Jewell St., playing Parcheesi, and trying to learn Canasta (red threes!). Then snuggling together on the couch at night in one of your borrowed bath robes (I felt very mature wearing one of Grammy’s cozy robes) while we read books picked up from the library and sipped chocolate milk. So many of these weekends and yet not enough. I know that you will always be watching over us. I couldn’t have asked for a better guardian angel. I love you forever. - Jenny

There is so much more I could say about you, and who you were in my life than I could fit in this message. You taught me compassion. You taught me it was more important to observe than to judge. And you showed me the path to heaven is not by what you read and remember, but by how you apply the teachings of great character to those people around you. At the time of writing this, I know you are seeing us and encouraging us all to live our lives as best and honorably as we can until we are reunited. I know signs of your presence will show to all of us that loved and miss you, and they will serve as gentle, yet powerful reminders that your kind influence lives on with us. We will be on the lookout for these signs as we remember you. We certainly dread saying goodbye for the last time. It's the most difficult thing we can really do. We also remember that nobody is truly gone, and saying goodbye for the last time is really because our last hello is still yet to come, and that last meeting will last forever. We know you have had your own times where you had said those same painful goodbyes to loved ones, and when your spirit had graduated to Heaven, you were joyfully reunited with them; those that you had been waiting a lifetime to see again, as we will be for you. You deserve the eternal joy of heaven, and I will do my best in this life so that I will see you up the road. I love you. Goodbye, for now!

I met Becky when I was a young parent. It was a wonderful friendship and Becky had the rare gift of being non judgmental as a young adult! Through Facebook, it was wonderful to stay in touch .A wonderful family that cared about each other.

Mom, I thank God every day for your presence in my life. You have been an incredible role model for me in every way.I love you with all my heart and you will always have a place there. We shared a love for music, dancing antiques, silliness, and babies (to name a few). We've had more fun and laughs than I can ever count. For the last 51 years you have been my Mom and I am beyond grateful. Rest in peace knowing how much you are loved by all who knew you. Jim and I will miss you and Bob until we are with you again.

Becky was a lovely lady, always smiling, so much fun to be with. We had many good times with Bob & Becky, celebrating birthdays, or dinner at her home. Always willing to share her love of books. Though her hard work, she made her house a beautiful enviting home. We shall miss her. Our condolences to her family.
