CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

I'm so sorry to hear of Leslie's passing. Although we never met in person, we became friends when I found out that she was the one who rescued my heart kitty, (shelter name: Gray Ghost), Demetrius the Gladiator. We kept in touch through Facebook and I was so happy to be able to follow her journey through Caring Bridge. Now she's gotten to the rainbow bridge, where there must be so many animals that she helped find homes for and give immense love to. I will keep all of you and Leslie in my thoughts and in my heart. May her memory be with all of us who had a connection with her and her kindness. Barb Balkwill and Demetrius the Gladiator

Lyle, Amy and Adam, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I can see her face and hear her laugh so easily even though I hadn't seen her for a quite some time. She was like an aunt to me, who I can remember tucking me into bed at sleepovers. We will all miss her so much.

Lyle, Adam, Amy and family - We are all so sorry for the loss of Leslie, and for what she and you all went through with her illness. She was a love to all of us for so many years, and her warmth and humor will be dearly missed. I am lucky to carry lots of happy memories of our families enjoying good times together. Leslie always added something very special to those times around the table together... only she could steal the show from our dads and raise the already-raucous volume by sending everyone into a laughing fit. She was a gift to all of us. Love always, Ben, Kerry, Violet, and Delia Dei
