Cheryl has been on my mind nonstop since I heard this sad news. My heart goes out to her son Brandon Gillespie and his family, as well as every other family member and the friends who loved her. Cheryl was intelligent, kind, soft-spoken and a lot of fun. I spent many happy days with her and will miss our visits. True friendship is rare, and Cheryl was just that: a rara avis.
