To my brother, you always had time to spend with me when I came to Mass for a visit. I always enjoyed our conversations and the memories we shared growing up. You will always be remembered for your wave and beep, your sense of humor, your kindness towards others and who could forget your stories. You will be missed but never forgotten. Rest In Peace brother and start framing those golden homes in heaven, and don’t forget the lolly pop box!

To the entire Davidson family, we are neighbors on Dean St. and have enjoyed Louie’s waves and stories for the better part of 30 years. Louie talked about buying my Corvette and I always told him that he could take it for a ride at anytime. He would get a kick out of the fact that as a firefighter he would offer see me at home and would smile and ask if I ever worked followed by “ it a beautiful thing “ I will miss his smile and wave. Just started getting used to seeing his new truck but will always remember him in the old Chevy. RIP friend

We will certainly miss Lew walking into our shop with his newest joke under his tongue. He always put a smile on our faces! What a guy! Rest in Peace, Lew!

Our sincerest condolences to the entire Davison family. I want Lew’s family and friends to know that if it wasn’t for Lew our non-profit business probably wouldn’t be here today. Lew was kind, understanding and every now and then cutting us a little break. He was great for word-of-mouth sales always sending business our way. Lew supported our mission, and we will never forget him for all that he has done for Mansfield Shredding Service. We will miss his beep and wave.

My condolences to the entire family for their loss. Lew was always smiling and positive. I never heard Lew say a bad word about anyone. Lew loved the soundtrack from “The Big Chill”. Great music for sure and the movie demonstrates fond friendships. Lew was a great friend and kind hearted to all. He will be sorely missed.

Sending my deepest sympathy for uncle Lew's beautiful daughters an family. I will always treasure the memories of the summer cookout where he offered his house out for the whole family every year an was always so happy to see everyone pile into the yard for the get together. He touched my heart when he left me the most beautiful voice-mail a few years ago. He always had a big big smile. Treasure all the beautiful memories. xoxo

To Lew’s family, please accept my condolences on your loss. Lew was a real gentleman and a fun guy to be around. I was fortunate to have played in the Willowdale league for several years. Lew made sure it was a great time for all. The highlight was his jokes. Rest in peace Captain Lew. You will be missed…

Dearest Kristen, Jennifer and Mary, I can't believe I'm writing this condolence about Lewie, daddy. I'm Kathy, Lewie's ex-wife Lee's "little sister". I have to say that Lewie was the most wonderful and important man in my entire life. He became more of a father figure to me than a brother-in-law. Lewie and my sister basically raised me. They became my legal guardians and I lived with them and Kristen and Jennifer my "little sis ters". I was so blessed he and my sister stepped in and gave me a childhood a loving home and nurturing that didn't end when I became an adult. Lewie had been here for me everyday of my life when needed. It was a privilege to have been loved by him. Lewie was the kindest man and everyone loved being around him. With deep sadness, and loving gratitude Aunt Kathy. Lewie, you will always be in my heart

Being best friends with my father, I got a lot of time with Lewie growing up. He always listened and was interested in my life, no matter what my age was. I always loved his humor, simplicity, and uplifting spirit. He became a close friend to me as I got older, and we spoke on the phone regularly. I’m so happy to have seen him for two great visits in July, and I’m consoled by the thought of him and my father reunited in a better place. All our love to your entire family, Nick Dei and Family

After many attempts to put into words what Lewie has meant to me, my husband & both are daughters, it has been almost impossible for me to complete. Lewie became my brother-in-law when I was about 12 or 13 y/o. I always thought of him as my "Brother". He was Godfather to our 1st daughter. He took that role seriously. He never missed a Birthday, Holiday, dance recital, graduation & wedding. He loved both our daughters. He was usually at our house every weekend when Kris & Jen were young. Lewie was the most dependable, loving, giving, humble man I have ever met. When someone needed a helping hand...Lewie always extended 2 helping hands. He never spoke bad about anyone. We stayed in touch all these years. We've shared many jokes, laughs, tears & advice on the phone. He loved his daughters w/all his heart. Kristen, Jennifer & Mary were his world. Our hearts are broken, but our memories & love for Lewie will always be a part of us. Lewie...I know you are in Heaven...because God only takes the BEST! All our love to you. God Bless...until we meet again.

Where do I start? My Uncle Lewis has always been a ray of sunshine in my life from even my earliest childhood memories up until his passing. If you were lucky enough to know him than you will understand what I mean. Always so thoughtful, caring and willing to listen and give his great advise (along with a funny story of course). I'll forever be grateful for all the times he reached out to call me on my birthday or to make sure I was included in the summer fun events. The last conversation we had in July was one I'll never forget. I feel so blessed to have had him in my life. Krissy, Jenny and Mary, my sincere condolences. I love you all. RIP Uncle Lewie. You are so loved and will be missed greatly.

Ah, Lewie. I think Nick's posting really captured well who Lewie was to my family, and how deep a mark he left on everyone he touched. Knowing I earned his trust was a credential that I prized highly. We got to know each other so well over the years that we regularly checked in with one another, sought each other's counsel on business matters, and generally stepped in with a needed joke at just the right time, even if only over a long-distance call. Our games of phone tag (sometimes months-long) were legendary. And I'm going to miss him. I miss him already. Lewie was one of those old timers I looked up to, of whom there are fewer and fewer every passing year, whose legend was well-built and well-earned over his years and his experiences. His life built him into a solid human being, so reliable in his depth and quality of heart that you might almost believe he would never fade out. I suppose he won't for those who loved him. And I have to believe my father must have jumped whatever gate, cut whatever line, and willingly broke whatever rules necessary to be the first to greet him in heaven. We all loved him very much, however long we knew him. Lewie was, and remains, family. Love always, Ben, Kerry, Violet & Delia Dei

What a wonderful man!!! He will be missed so much by many. It will not be the same as we sit out front on my sister & Brother in-laws porch. Lewie always went by beeping, waving, blowing a kiss or tipping his hat.He would often stop and sit, laugh and chat with us!!! Rest in the sweetest peace and fly like the angel that you are Love Julie & Family

As a young boy, when I needed the love, strength, and protection of a father-figure, Lewie was there. I never forgot that. Never will. He always held a very, very special place in my heart. "Tommy"
