I am so sorry and deeply saddened to hearing the passing of Vladimir. I am a colleague of his at SIMULIA who went Yoga with him every week. He was such a technology giant, yet super down-to-earth and easy going. He always tried to make other people around him comfortable by making jokes. They are rare characteristics to be found together in one person. Deepest condolences to your family. My thoughts will be together with you.

I was very sorry to hear about Vlad passing, my sincere condolences to his family and friends. I got to know Vlad well on the tennis court where he always competed with great enthusiasm and a positive outlook, which I always appreciated. He was very proud of his family from the stories he shared with me over the years.

When Valdimir is on the case, you know things will turn out just fine. When he is fielding ideas, either from colleagues or academics, you know he will cut the chase and get to the essence. His credibility is built on his stellar accomplishments. Over the past 20+ years, I had the opportunity to work with him. We will all miss not only his intellect, but also his humor; an incredible combination indeed.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Vladimir. I was fortunate to be able to work with Vladimir for 14 years. He was brilliant, kind, and highly respected by his colleagues. I always enjoyed any chance I had to listen and learn from him, whether in a meeting, the hallway or the gym. He will be greatly missed. Sincerely, Scott
