I have so many warm memories of growing up with you all on Whittemore Point and I always loved your Mom. Of course we share the same birthday. I hope your memories always comfort you. What a wonderful obituary for such a wonderful person. I'm so sorry to hear of Carol's death. Whenever I visited the area I would arrange to visit Carole. Last September was no different except she looked sick and frail. I think when leaving we said "goodbye" and not "see you later". RIP Carole.

Karl and family, please accept our heartfelt sorrow over your loss of Carol. I know how much she enriched your lives. She also enriched our lives; we will be poorer because of her passing. We have many good memories of times with you and Carol. What an enjoyable time we had together on our trip to Alaska. And, on visits to your home, I would always to be asked to play a few tunes on the piano. After playing, Carol would graciously tell me how much she enjoyed the music. Even though, I am no great shakes as a player. Carol will always remain in our memories. We know we will see her again, when we too go to God’s House.

We were deeply saddened to learn of Carols death. Carol was a star in our family and was one of my fathers’ favorite people. She always made an effort to keep our families together and in touch. We were always delighted and it was special to see Carol and the family. I had just been thinking it was time to get together as the summer comes to an end. I am glad we managed to all get together over the last few years and as always, Carol was the perfect host. She was always charming, welcoming and generous. She will be greatly missed, and our thoughts and support go out to the whole family in this sad and difficult time.
