Pat and Family, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Ed passing. I had the pleasure of knowing Ed from 3 different perspectives, his manager at Motorola, his peer and his friend. Ed was what every manager wanted in an employee; smart, dependable and a self starter. I never had to even think about the many telephone and voice communication systems and networks we had all over the world. Ed took care of it all and never complained. As a peer, he would work very well with all the other technical teams and share his wealth of knowledge. Best of all was his friendship. He was a true friend who I will never forget. Pat - I enjoyed working with you as well. You and Ed were a great team at Motorola and at home. My prayers are with you all. Jim Gaumond
