Dear Family of Ellen Banach, Words cannot express how I feel about losing Ellen, nor can they express the deepest amount of sympathy I have for the loss and pain you are enduring. Ellen was the consummate professional, exacting in her approach to work and life. Her work ethic was paralleled by her caring about and compassion toward others. I had the pleasure of working for and with Ellen for 7 years, during which time we also became friends. We worked hard, but shared many laughs along the way. Her love for you was profound. She was so proud of each of you for your accomplishments and for just being you. Ellen will live on through you and in our hearts and memories. I am grateful to have known Ellen. I wish you peace and comfort in the months and years ahead. In sympathy, Cynthia Marlborough

I had the pleasure of working with Ellen on healthcare-related issues. I was always impressed not only by the depth of experience and knowledge she so clearly had, but by her ability to communicate real insights about the field. I learned a lot from her. She was a good person and a class act. We'll all miss her.
