Aunt Lauri- you are one amazing, beautiful strong woman and I can only dream of carrying the family name on as proudly as you have done. You & Uncle Ray have an equally beautiful, amazing and strong daughter and should be so proud of her. She is your rock just as you were ours for the Pierce family. I love you deeply and am sorry for not voicing it as much as I should have. However I know you knew how much I loved you whether words were spoken or not. Dear Kali and Raymond, My heart is breaking for you. I am so terribly sorry for your loss and Lauri will be missed by all. She was a lovely, caring, sweet, considerate, helpful, wonderful woman. She had such a quick wit and humour that she hid so well. She was loved and admired and I hope that you can carry that knowledge with you to help ease your pain.

I'll always remember her smile, even if she was extremely busy or maybe wasn't feeling well. So many times she was there to help me fill out a form, send a fax, get supplies, answer a question or maybe just chat a bit. Our quick little conversations about camping and how many of the same places we had been. And how she personally helped me when buying our house in Florida. All those messages she passed on to me were necessary to close the deal! Mansfield High School has lost a beloved member of the staff. My sincerest condolences to the family. Lauri was one of the nicest people I've ever known.
