“Jo’s” brilliantly written obituary describes her with precision. I hesitate to add to it. But I know that she would be on the phone calling to ask why I did not! We talked nearly every day -mostly about church. For decades “Jo” Clancy was a fixture at St Anthony of Padua. She was devoted to her family. She and Father Richard were inseparable. He was incredibly caring of his mother. The St Anthony community and others will miss her. She loved the Rosary, and the Masses on Boston Catholic TV and the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word from Alabama. St. Dominic wrote: “Arm yourself with prayers” and St. Francis of Assisi said “where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance.” Requiescat In Pace, my friend.

Woburn, MA 01801,
After reading her brilliantly written obituary that described "Jo Clancy" with precision, I hesitate to comment on her life. However, I know that if I did not, she'd be calling me on the phone wanting to know why not! For decades, Jo was a fixture at St. Anthony of Padua. She loved the masses there, the TV masses from Boston Catholic TV and from Franciscan Missionaries, of the Eternal Word from Alabama, and the Rosary. She was devoted to her family. Father Richard and she were inseparable. She epitomized the words of St. Dominic who said: "Arm yourself with prayers." And likewise, "Where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance. The Holy Rosary is the best artillery against demons and their followers" - St Francis of Assisi. Jo: Requiescat in Pace, my dear friend.

I was so saddened to read about Jo’s passing! She was such a gracious and we.coming neighbor when I. moved into my condo! She had a great sense of humor and never missed a meeting of the Social Club! She will be greatly missed here! My condolences to Fr. Clancy and the dear family she leaves behind.
