I have known all of the McLaughlin family ever since we moved next door to Bill Sr in East Lexington in June 1964. I was especially close to Larry and Della and their children over the years. Were it not for ill health we would have had a second reunion of out two families this year. I am sorry for the loss to the family of Larry and hope to maintain some connection with you all in the future, health permitting. Regards, affection and respect, Jim Moran Sr.

To my former My Street neighbors I am very sorry to learn of Larry's passing. He was a great person and friend to our family, especially to my maternal Grandmother in Charlestown. May he rest in peace and may all the wonderful memories help you to feel surrounded by much love. Tricia Maguire Keenan

Della, Sheila, Patrick and Brendan, I just want to let you know we are thinking of you constantly this past week. I don't have great words of comfort except to tell you that we know how special a man Larry was, and how much he brought to you all, and everyone that knew him. This world is a better place for having had Larry in it. Much love to you all today and always. May you rest in peace Larry and thank you for the great memories. Love, Lauretta

I am very sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. It was my pleasure to have him as a relative! He was a real man in every way!He had a wonderful connection to my father Terence Sullivan! They were both of the same mold!Intelligent, tough, athletic, hard working Irishmen! Larry was respected by everyone I ever came across! Hopefully he is having a few laughs now with friends who met him when he arrived in heaven! I’m very sorry I can’t make it to the services. I had an accident over the weekend which required some surgery. Best Regards,Daniel Sullivan

As once a very close friend of Brendon's for many years, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. He was always so friendly and kind. Losing a parent is the hardest thing in the world and nobody can prepare us for the whole it leaves in our hearts. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Marie Asklund (formerly Callahan)
