Noel was the leader along with the heart and soul of Woburn Pickleball. He introduced hundreds of players to the game. We held him in high regard as a gentleman's gentleman. Noel was the best dressed pickleballer, at least in the state of Massachusetts. What drew him to me and others was his kindness, generosity and good humor. And he was a damned good player too. Did I mention his cooking skills? My dearest condolences to Marcia and family.

Meeting Noel over a year ago at Belmont pickleball was a good day. His love of the game and his kindness for all was so special. He was our coach on the court but more so off the court. Sending warm hugs to his beautiful wife and family. RIP coach!

Noel was one of the first pickleball players that my wife Ranu and I met when we started playing in 2018. Instantly, we saw what a kind and generous man he was. Soon after, he took the initiative to create the wonderful pickleball courts in Woburn. Rest in peace, Noel. Your legacy lives on.

My sincere condolences on the loss of Noel. A true gentleman, always welcoming newcomers to the sport of pickleball. His warm non-threatening personality was appreciated in all aspects of his social and business ventures. Dedicated to the communities where he lived and unselfish of his time and energy. I was fortunate to have him as a friend, co-instructor and competitor. May he rest in peace.

Shocked and saddened by Noel's sudden passing, condolences to Marcia and all his family and many friends. I always enjoyed playing with or against Noel in Reading and Woburn, as everyone else did too. I particularly had fun working alongside Noel at the occasional Pickleball tournament - great occasions for chatting, having a laugh and watching the competition. RIP Noel

My condolences to Marcia and family. I met Noel when I was a beginner pickleball player. Noel was welcoming, encouraging, and kind, as well as a great player. He eventually became one of my teachers . I will miss you Noel, but will always think of you when I am on the courts.
