We are all so saddened and shocked by this unexpected news and are left wondering what happened and if we could have helped. Dave was a sweet man and a kind friend, as well as a consummate professional. He loved people and dogs and they loved him right back. RIP dear man

It was with great sadness that we learned of Dave's passing. He was such a kind and good person - always took time to talk sports with our boys in the driveway and I always looked forward to chatting with him whenever I had the chance. He will be missed and our thoughts are with his family.

David Goodrich has been our USPS Representative for many years. He was a consummate professional mailperson, who made sure the mail was left in the mail box or he would walk around to the back porch and leave it there, if there was more mail than could fit in the mail box. He always made sure the mail was secured with elastics. He was cheerful, always friendly and personable and easily engaged in conversation. Our sincere condolences to his family for his loss and its with sadness that I am writing this about losing someone who felt like a very good and caring friend. Drs. Arthur and Tina Papas

Dave was one of those special people - you were always glad to see him. Everybody loved him. His kindness was so natural and charming...and soulful. We used to have wonderful talks about music and sports and science and food and family - he was always enthusiastic and curious. He leaves a large hole in all of our lives. I will miss him terribly. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends.

So sorry to hear about Dave! I enjoyed my interactions with him at the Lexington post office where I worked. Good sense of humor, very calm and easy going. That’s what I remember. Again I am so sorry!
