There's so much I could say about Joseph,(my nickname for him) but I'll try to be concise. First and foremost, I'm a better person for having known him...I will miss his smile, his warmth, his upbeat positive attitude, and of course his jokes. He is one of most wonderful people I have had the fortune of knowing. And the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, although I know Fran only, she would share with me many family stories and how close nit and caring you all are...in-laws, nieces, nephews, grand-children, all of it, and from what I see, the tone was set at the top, Camille & Joseph, they are together now for an eternity. You have my deepest condolences for your loss. Warm regards, Terri

My condolences to the Presti family. Eye was Joe’s mailman for many years and his neighbor 4 houses down. Didn’t know Joe well till he got sick with Lime Disease and eye started bring his mail to the house there eventually met his darling wife Camille and the rest of his family. Joe was of brilliant intelligence great with numbers and he excelled in the stock mkt with wisdom , vision and a Ferocious competitor in picking teems that made the Playoffs for fun and his strategy was unique....We were friends for many years since mid 2000’s go to lunch and movies and hang out at Camilles park bench up at the common. He showed many tricks about growing vegetables and sometimes compete at growing the biggest pumpkin it’s was good fun. Joe was a man of Faith , he honored his wife , a great Dad an Grand Dad to his family an many who admired him , so with heavy thoughts I’m going to miss a great friend and mentor. Kirk

It is with fond memories of Joe that I write this note. Not only was he our landlord when, in 1987 we opened The Watchmaker in downtown Stoneham, he also became a treasured friend. We are still in business today thanks to the support and guidance provided by Joe during our formative years

Our prayers are with Joe and his family. Joe was a very kind neighbor, we would chat about our gardens and he was always interested in hearing what we were up to and sharing his life experiences. We will miss him and think of him often.

I first met Joe in 1959 when we were classmates at Wentworth Institute. Upon graduation we both went to work for New England Telephone - now Verizon. Joe was in Engineering and I was in the Plant department. My people installed and maintained many of the systems Joe and his people engineered. Although we both and had many different assignments we often interacted and worked well together. After retirement we started playing golf together along with others to make a foursome. We referred to each other as BBB's (Best Ball Buddies). Joe always had great stories to tell and golf was a pleasure. We didn't take it too seriously and had a lot of fun. I will miss Joe and wish his family the best. He was the BEST!!!

To the family members of Joe, I don't know many of you. But I do know Ron through work. Each and every day I work with Ron, I'm impressed with the kind of man he is. He is kind, intelligent, inspiring, selfless and a delightful coworker. I can only imagine he gained these traits through his upbringing. This alone tells me of how fantastic a man Joe must have been. I often say the only success in life worth anything is the success of raising amazing children to carry on your legacy. Ron, being the torch bearer I know from Joe, I can surmise his success is immeasurable. Joe, thank you for your successes. Rest easy knowing your legacy is in good hands.
