I was fortunate enough to have breakfast with Eddie several times, joining he, my late father, Leo Harkins, and the rest of the gang! I loved listening to their lively stories! Eddie was so enigmatic and bright and I liked him instantly! My mom said he would share special coins with my dad who also loved collecting coins. So sad to hear of his passing but his love will live on. Sending my deepest condolences to his beloved family at this sad time.

I am very sorry to read of Eddie's passing in the Daily Times Chronicle. My mother Mary Jane (Carroll) Doucette was a classmate of Eddie at Woburn High School and enjoyed seeing and talking to him at Frannies Restaurant in Winchester before they closed for good a few years ago. My mother passed away on September 17th last year. She was 89 years old. She had a good memory and remembered her many classmates.
