While regretfully I did not know Fr Basinow, I send my prayers and condolences to his family and friends. I am pleased to have learned of his outstanding Spiritual and Psychological backgrounds that led to a brilliant dual career. I’m grateful for his connections to Northeastern University and to Rehabilitation Counseling. The Founding. chairman of that program was the late Dr Reuben Margolin. He led the Rehab program and I directed the Special Ed division of the department. So, not to be self-serving, i thank Dr Basinow for helping to make NU great!

Fr. Leonard was a true man of God, who demonstrated his spirituality through his words and actions on the altar and off. I always looked forward to hearing from him during the year, especially at Christmas, when he would send information about his pastoral and rehabilitation ministry. He will be missed. May Fr. Basinow’s name be written in the Book of Life and May his memory be eternal.
