Cæsar was one of the good ones. I’m devasted to know we can never go out for a good meal or a drink again. I wish I had known he was in the hospital but that’s so like him to not let on if he wasn’t feeling up to par.

I am devastated to learn the news about the passing of my adored friend Caesar - oh so many joyous memories we shared! Many hilarious and fun times drinking at dive bars in New York City, and having meals at Italian restaurants. We talked a lot about plays he was reading and even writing! He encouraged me greatly when I attempted to take to the stage - he was my buddy! It has been a little while since I last saw Caesar - as I lived in London for 16 years and now am in Charlottesville in VA. As he wasn't on any social media - we used to communicate the retro way of writing each other letters from time to time. Thanks for setting up the memorial fund with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute - and I have a check on the way. To all his family and friends - please know my thoughts are with you at this time. I am so so grateful to have known and shared very happy times in my life with Caesar! Rest In Power my dear friend!
