my heart is heavy with so many amazing memories of my beautiful sweet wonderful friend and coworker. sooo many memories happy and sad. loosing our parents. always being there for each other no matter how much time went by. I am forever grateful for all your kindness to me all our years at Tufts. Rest in Peace my sweet sweet friend. my heart hurts. Our boys are our lives!! our grandchildren an extension of that love. I love you.

I am so sorry for your loss, Danny, Karol and kids. I have known Ferne since Dan was in high school. She was a devoted mother, advocate, and friend. She was determined to be helpful and kind, always. She gave many hours to being a friend to The Curtis-Tufts School for many years. We don't know what we would have done without her. Dan, after things settle down, I would love to hear from you. I can get messages through FB if you choose. Love you, and again, so sorry. This is a huge loss for all.

Ferne was an amazing and kind person- she was my supervisor for several years while I worked a part-time student job at Tufts. I was going through a really difficult time while in school and was far away from home without any family nearby- I greatly looked forward to those few hours a week when I'd come into work. Ferne was always so happy to see me and was generous and kind- she made a hard time a little easier. I have thought of her often over the years. We last connected a few years back when I got married- I was planning to send her a birth announcement, as I just had my first baby when I learned she had passed away. I know some time has passed since the services, but I wanted to send my condolences. She was a very special person and I will remember her fondly!
