Courtney, Mark & Rosemary Ginny and I are sorry to hear of your loss. Josie was one of the most caring, loving person we had the pleasure of sharing time with her in her later years. Whether going out for a walk, breakfast or lunch we enjoyed her company. Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you at this very difficult time. Annie & Ginny (former neighbors)

Dear RoseMarie - I am so very sorry to hear about “Auntie” Josie - I just found out and so sorry I didn’t attend her services - she was a sweetheart and always loved seeing her at MGH when she would volunteer - her and my Mother Eleanor had a great friendship - and always enjoyed her company - sending my condolences to you- Elena ( Fiamma) Donovan

Josephine was a fixture in our neighborhood. I would often see her walking or, in later years, out on her porch for a breath of fresh air and would stop and talk for a little bit. Josephine had quite the life and her experiences were incredibly moving. May her family find comfort and peace in knowing she's with her brother Gaspare, sons Gaspare and Jackie as well as her siblings, relatives and friends. She's going to be missed but not forgotten!
