David was a great Uncle to me as a kid. A lot of my favorite memories are with him and Dale and Brenny. I will miss David a lot. I know he is in a better place.

To the Stone family. I started my career in law enforcement working out of South Station with the MBTA Police. I quickly got to know Dave and became friends with him. I remember Dave would always be watching out for me and have my back when I would have to respond to calls in the bus terminal. He was always someone I could talk to and bounce ideas off. He was just such a nice guy. Although we lost touch, every time I come back to South Station to work, I ask about him and today just heard the unfortunate news. He was truly a great man and for a few years in my life he was a "go-to" guy for advice while I was pondering marriage, then when I did would give me parenting advice with my newly adopted daughter. I know he loved his children and I'm so sorry for your loss.
