We worked with Maria through her role at Merrill Lynch. She was thoughtful, sweet, and incredibly smart. We loved having her insights and expertise in our project. Maria will be missed. We have organized a donation in her name to the Hematology Fund. Sending love from the entire Markit Digital team.

To the Loved Ones of Maria, I had the pleasure of working with Maria on many projects over the last 7 months here. In the first few months when I was new, I was assigned several articles to work on with her. She was the most understanding person to deal with despite me making so many mistakes. At the time, I thought she was going to kill me for all the back and forth. But she always maintained a calm demeanor and was very soft and kind in her words and writing. I will never forget the time that we were going back and forth on two very similar, overlapping projects that was just so frustrating for me. Maria just kept her chill and was a positive force throughout. Honestly, if it wasn't for her willingness to help I would have been lost during my early days here. I enjoyed working with her closely over the time I knew her very much. We were looking forward to working closer together again as priorities were shifting here. She was kind, and smart and thorough. She trained people to do the things she did and passed down her knowledge so that we could succeed in life - she taught all of us something. Maria may be gone, but she will never be forgotten, as she touched more lives than any of us can imagine... With Love, Alex

I worked with Maria for 7+ years at Bank of America. Maria was a great business partner. She was always well organized, paid attention to the little details, and was easy to work with. But even more important… Whenever we would chat, I could tell that she was a kind, caring and positive person. I'll miss working with her…

I was so saddened to hear of Maria's passing. I worked with her at Liberty Funds in Boston and remember her kind and thoughtful ways. She had a quiet presence but strong in her convictions and a beautiful smile. I am sure she was the perfect daughter, wife and most importantly mother. Sending my thoughts and prayers to all her family.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to Maria's family. I had the pleasure of being a teammate of Maria's at Bank of America and I was so saddened to hear of her passing. She was such a kind, caring, and genuine person that brought positivity and perspective to her work. Shortly after I returned to work from paternity leave, Maria and I sat next to each other on a return flight to Boston from a meeting. Sensing my shell-shock of a new parent away from home for the first time, Maria instinctively shared the types of parenting tips, wisdom, and anecdotes that only a devoted and loving mother could. I'll remember Maria fondly and hope you have many great memories to help you through this tough time.

I never met Maria, but I feel like I knew her. My daughter, Amy, worked with Maria for 6 years, at Bank of America. Maria & Amy were a team. Amy always spoke so highly of Maria. She was always so supportive and Amy relied on Maria’s input & expertise daily. Maria was not only a co-worker, but a dear friend. She will be sorely missed by Amy. Maria has made a lasting, wonderful impression & memory for my daughter. My deepest sympathy to the Ulloa & Casali families.
