Tina - I was saddened to hear of Maria’s passing. Your mom had such a warm bright smile. I remember her laugh and her love of chestnuts on Thanksgiving. Sending condolences and hugs. xo

I have had the pleasure of knowing Maria for over 40 years. Her daughter, Tina and I became fast friends soon after I moved to MA. from Iowa. My earliest memory of Maria was when she offered to prepare the Thanksgiving meal for a small group of us. First there was antipasto, then the lasagna. When she announced that it was time for the turkey and then stuffing, we were all ready to explode. Maria had a way of filling the room with her vibrant personality, filling our bellies with delicious Italian dishes and filling our hearts with her love. I’m really going to miss my MA. mom. I send your family prayers, wishes for healing and sweet memories.
