My most sincerest condolences. I was so sad to hear the news. Mr. Davis, our Treasurer, was such a wonderful man. He was there when we needed him to help the city move forward with his wealth of knowledge, kind demeanor and respectful ways. His passing has left a very dark cloud over our city. May he rest in peace and may the Family always know he will always be with you every step of the way. I remain, very truly yours, Debbie DeMaria

Dear Bernadette, Jonathan and Kaitlyn. I worked with Jon in many capacities at the T, but finally as his Chief of Staff from 2013 until he retired. I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing and want to extend my heartfelt and deepest condolences to you and your entire family. We met once, at Jon's retirement party, but even before that meeting, I felt like I knew you because he spoke of you lovingly so often. I pray for your comfort and strength during this difficult time and know that Jon now rests in Heaven. God Bless You.

To Mrs. Davis, Jonathan's children, family and friends. I was so saddened to hear about Jonathan's passing and just wanted you to know how much he will be missed by so many of us. Jonathan and I would share emails and discussions about the Michigan Wolverines, Pats and all things Boston sports and of course family. I worked with Jonathan at the MBTA and he was always so kind and helpful to me during my time at the T and we stayed in touch over the years since. Jonathan loved the T and loved Boston, loved people and loved to help others. You could always go to Jonathan with just about any issue and he was there to help, no matter how busy he was, he would find time to help you work things out, he was such a good person. We will miss Jonathan greatly but know we will see him again, God Bless you Jonathan, your family and friends, rest in peace my friend, love, Gary Talbot

Dear Bernadette, Jonathan and Kaitlyn, I'm very sorry for your loss. I worked for Jon at the MBTA for 5 years right out of grad school. I learned so much from him. His quiet but strong confidence helped me grow personally and professionally. He was a terrific boss and a human being. I will always remember him with deep respect and love. I wish you all patience, and strength during this difficult time. May Jon rest in peace. Regards, Meltem Korkmazel

Jon and I worked together for four years at Hood when I was first a lawyer. We were very good friends and had many fun times together. I was so thrilled when Jon met the love of his life and I went to their wedding. So very sad to hear of his passing way too soon. But, he had a great life and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
